A Perry County man who was shot several times while inside his home early Wednesday was listed in serious condition at the University of Kentucky Chandler Hospital, according to a hospital spokeswoman.

Someone fired multiple shots through the door of the home of Johnny R. Clark, 38, on Dusty Road in Viper in Perry County, according to a news release from Kentucky State Police.

The shooter fled, according to police.

Clark suffered multiple gunshot wounds, but police said his wounds didn't appear to be life-threatening.

No arrests had been made as of late Wednesday morning.
