Morehead State University released a statement Wednesday by Sean Woods, explaining the men's basketball head coach's visit to the hospital on Sunday.
"I checked into the hospital on Sunday after having a dizzy spell," Woods said. "The medical staff ran precautionary tests and all of the results came back great. I returned to practice on Tuesday and will be on the sidelines Thursday at Southeast Missouri. I want to thank everyone for their prayers and support over the past few days. It's very humbling to know how many people have been thinking about me."
Woods was traveling to Cape Girardeau, Mo., with the team on Wednesday, the school said.
Woods' team is 8-10 in his first season as Morehead coach. The Eagles are 2-2 in Ohio Valley Conference play after a 59-52 loss at Eastern Kentucky on Saturday.
