Three eighth-graders at Lexington's Morton Middle School will face consequences for alleged drug-dealing at the school Wednesday, Fayette Public Schools officials said.
According to the school district, two students will be charged with trafficking in marijuana within 1,000 feet of a school. A third will be charged with possession of marijuana, they said.
Letters explaining the matter were sent home to Morton parents Wednesday.
