The holiday weekend brings yet another opportunity to see Kentucky's top basketball recruits on national television.
Andrew Wiggins, Aaron Gordon and Dakari Johnson will all face elite competition at the Hoophall Classic in Springfield, Mass., over the next couple of days.
On Sunday, Wiggins and Huntington (W.Va.) Prep play against Indiana signee Noah Vonleh and New Hampton (N.H.) in a game that will be televised at 5 p.m. on ESPN. Wiggins, the No. 1 prospect in the country, has narrowed his list to UK, Florida State, North Carolina and Kansas.
On Monday, UK recruit Aaron Gordon and Archbishop Mitty (Calif.) face Lone Peak (Utah) at noon on ESPNU. Gordon will choose among UK, Arizona and Washington. Lone Peak is ranked No. 3 in the country by ESPN.com.
The nation's top high school teams meet later Monday, with No. 1 Montverde (Fla.) taking on No. 2 Findlay Prep (Nev.) in a battle of unbeatens at 4 p.m. on ESPNU.
Montverde includes UK commitment Dakari Johnson, Florida signee Kasey Hill and junior guard D'Angelo Russell, who is a Louisville native and has expressed interest in both Kentucky and Louisville.
