A Georgetown man charged with driving under the influence in a fatal crash was released on $2,000 bond Sunday afternoon from the Scott County Detention Center, according to jail officials.
Frankie Lazarin was arrested early Sunday after he crashed his car into a guard rail on Interstate 75 in Scott County, Georgetown police told WKYT-TV. No other information about Lazarin or the crash was available Sunday, and Georgetown police did not return calls.
Lazarin's passenger, Roger Daniels, 47, also of Georgetown, died from the injuries he sustained in the crash, the station reported.
