An 18-year-old University of Kentucky student was in the Fayette County jail late Sunday charged with an on-campus rape.

University of Kentucky police arrested Simon Parker Segal on Saturday. Segal met a female UK student at an off-campus party late Friday, then returned with her to a campus residence hall and raped her, police Chief Joe Monroe said. A witness to the crime reported it to police, who later found Segal in a parking lot, Monroe said.
