UofL falls to No. 5 in polls; plays at Villanova tonight

Louisville, ranked fifth in the nation, will try to bounce back from its first loss in two months when the Cardinals take on Villanova at 8 p.m. Tuesday at Philadelphia.

Despite 25 points from Russ Smith, Louisville (16-2, 4-1 Big East) lost to Syracuse 70-68 Saturday, and promptly fell from the No. 1 spot in the polls.

Villanova lost to Providence 69-66 on Saturday. JayVaughn Pinkston came off the bench for 20 points in the loss.
