University of Kentucky freshman Willie Cauley-Stein did not travel with the team to Alabama for its men's basketball game Tuesday night.

"I was very pleased that WCS was able to get in a good treadmill workout Monday. As a precaution, he stayed in Lex & will not dress tonight," Coach John Calipari posted on his Twitter account Tuesday afternoon.

This marks the second game Cauley-Stein will have missed since the team announced Friday that the 7-foot-forward had a "minor procedure" done on his left knee Thursday. The procedure was performed to clear up an old injury he recently aggravated.

Cauley-Stein is averaging 7.6 points, 5.8 rebounds and 1.9 blocks per game this season.

Kentucky's next game after Tuesday's 9 p.m. contest at Alabama is a home game Saturday against LSU.
