Dani Rodgers, a case manager at Bluegrass Rape Crisis Center, is counseling a mother of two who needs $500 to pay her rent.

The woman's children are ages 14 and 9. She has been employed for the last two years and plans to continue working. She is also taking legal action toward a divorce and child support.

Income at this time is from her earnings and food stamps.
