The inaugural State Competitive Cheer Championships scheduled for Saturday have been postponed because of the weather, the Kentucky High School Athletic Association announced Friday.

The event, to be held in Bowling Green, has been rescheduled for Feb. 23.

The KHSAA said more details will be forthcoming for coaches and participants in the coming days as housing and travel logistics are worked out.
