Jessamine County: The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet is beginning the design process for improvements to make ­Brannon Road safer.

Working with EA ­Partners as a consultant, the cabinet is studying ways to widen the pavement and shoulder and get rid of roadside hazards. Specific changes haven’t been decided, but surveying has begun.

A Facebook page and public meeting will be set up to gather public input. The area being studied is between U.S. 68 and U.S. 27 in Jessamine County.
