The Fayette County Clerk's office will no longer offer extended Monday hours because of construction at the Annex parking garage.

Motor vehicle titling, voter registration and land records, inquiries and copies will offer hours from 8 a.m. until 4:30 p.m Monday through Friday . Land records and recording will offer hours from 8 a.m. until 4 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Fayette County Clerk Don Blevins said the reduction in hours is for safety and he hopes the original hours can be restored as soon as possible.

The garage restoration began in August to address safety repairs such as waterproofing, lighting and a new entrance and exit system.
