An attic fire in a two-story house temporarily closed parts of two Lexington roads Friday morning.

The fire was at 462 Breckinridge Street, near the road's intersection with Shropshire Avenue. No injuries were reported.

Shropshire from East Seventh Street to Breckenridge was temporarily shut down along with Breckenridge at the Shropshire intersection.

The cold temperatures forced the city to put down more salt while firefighters were applying water to the fire.
