Lexington traffic report, week of Feb. 4

SPECIAL NOTES

Traffic is expected to be congested near Rupp Arena on Tuesday for the University of Kentucky-South Carolina men's basketball game, which starts at 9 p.m.; and again on Saturday for the Kentucky-Auburn University game, which starts at 4 p.m.

The Division of Engineering issued grading permits during the period Jan. 18-24 for the following addresses: 204 Waller Avenue, 1913 Falling Leaves Way, 464 Race Street, 3245 Cleveland Road and 564 East Third Street. Permits are issued for six months and can include some blasting.

SIGNIFICANT TRAFFIC IMPACT

There will be a rolling blockage of the right inbound lane of East Main Street between North Hanover Avenue and Eastern Avenue through Wednesday for sewer line inspection.

There will be a rolling blockage of either the left of right inbound lane of Richmond Road between Richmond Avenue and North Hanover Avenue through Wednesday for sewer line inspection.

One lane and the sidewalk of Angliana Avenue will be blocked between Curry Avenue and South Broadway through Wednesday for sewer and sidewalk work.

The right lane of the inner loop of Man o' War Boulevard will be blocked between Rapid Run Drive and Mount McKinley Way through Tuesday to replace sidewalks.

DeRoode Street will be closed between Versailles Road and McKinley Street through Dec. 31 for work on the Newtown Pike extension project. Motorists may access the neighborhood from Merino Street to McKinley Street to Byars Alley.
