Clark County: Pie contest, auction to be held

February 6, 2013

Partners in Education will host a pie-baking contest and live auction at 2 p.m. March 2 at the College Park Library. All pies must be made from scratch, including the crust, and there is a $10 entry fee per pie judged.

Bakers must submit two pies per entry, one for judging and one for the auction. Pies can be cream, meringue or fruit and may be entered in the homemade or professional division. The entry deadline is Feb. 15.

Proceeds benefit PIE, a program designed to enhance the quality of instructional services provided to Clark County students through the use of school volunteers and business partners. For more information, contact Betty Berryman at (859) 808-0083 or email betty.berryman@clark.kyschools.us.
