A Pike County woman was killed Tuesday night in a single-car crash in the Pike County community of Mouthcard.
Mona Gail Freeman, 76, of Fedscreek was a passenger in a vehicle driven by Charles Freeman, also of Fedscreek, according to a news release from Kentucky State Police.
Charles Freeman was driving north on Warrior Path after leaving the East Ridge High School parking lot when his vehicle struck an open security gate, the news release said.
Mona Gail Freeman was pronounced dead at the scene by the Pike County coroner's office.
No further details were available.
