Two Lexington men were arrested Wednesday in connection with a robbery at a Speedway gas station on Paris Pike in Fayette County.

Kaine M. Henshaw, 19, and James D. Barber, 21, were charged with robbery, Lexington police spokeswoman Sherelle Roberts said.

About 3 a.m. Wednesday, two men on foot entered the store wearing masks, and one of them carried a shotgun, Roberts said.

The men, Roberts said, demanded money and stole beer before running away, Roberts said. Lexington police dogs tracked the pair to a home on Strawberry Fields Road, not far from Paris Pike. Henshaw and Barber were arrested soon after.

The two remained at the Fayette County Detention Center Wednesday, each on a $10,000 bond, jail spokeswoman Jennifer Taylor said.
