First Watch, a daytime-only restaurant chain, plans to open its second Lexington restaurant this summer.
The restaurant will be in the former Atlanta Bread Co. restaurant at 1080 South Broadway, said Al Isaac, president of commercial real estate firm NAI Isaac, which coordinated the leasing.
The chain opened its first Lexington restaurant last fall at the intersection of Man o' War Boulevard and Richmond Road.
First Watch specializes in pancakes, omelets, salads and sandwiches, and signature items including the Chickichanga, a healthy turkey omelet and fresh fruit crepes. The restaurant says it does not use microwaves, deep fryers or heat lamps.
