Kentucky's celebrated class of incoming basketball recruits is already setting records.
Five UK commitments from the class of 2013 were named to the Jordan Brand Classic on Tuesday — the highest number of prospects from one college in the same year.
Aaron Harrison, Andrew Harrison, Dakari Johnson, James Young and Marcus Lee will all play in the game in Brooklyn on April 13.
Aaron Harrison is the only future Wildcat on the East roster, which includes UK targets Andrew Wiggins and Julius Randle.
Aaron Gordon, the other 2013 recruit considering UK, will play on the West team with Johnson, Lee, Young and Andrew Harrison.
Wiggins, Randle and Gordon — all considered among the country's top-10 players — are not expected to make their college decisions until the spring.
Coach John Calipari has landed 18 players in the Jordan Brand game since coming to Kentucky in 2009. He's had at least three players in each of the last five games.
In that same span, North Carolina has the second-most Jordan selections with 10, Duke has eight, and no other school has more than five.
The Jordan Brand Classic has grown into one of high school basketball's premier post-season events since its inception in 2002. This year's game will be shown on ESPN2.
Selections for the McDonald's All-American Game will be announced Thursday. That game will be played April 3 in Chicago.
Wiggins sets official visits
Huntington (W.Va.) Prep star Andrew Wiggins set tentative dates Tuesday for his final three official visits.
The No. 1-rated player in high school basketball is scheduled to visit UK on Feb. 27 for the Cats' home game against Mississippi State.
Wiggins will visit Kansas on March 4 and North Carolina on March 9.
The 6-foot-8 forward is also considering Florida State — his parents' alma mater. Wiggins took an official visit there in December.
His visit to Lexington will be his first this season, but he was in Rupp last season for Big Blue Madness and the UK-North Carolina game.
