The Kentucky men's basketball team will wear an alternate uniform design for Saturday's game at Tennessee.
The blue Nike Hyper Elite uniforms most notably place the word "Kentucky" across the back of the jersey in the place normally reserved for the player's name. On the front of the jersey, the word "Kentucky" is replaced by a large UK logo above the player's number.
UK is one of 12 schools selected to wear the commemorative uniforms on a one-time basis.
Gonzaga, Michigan State, Baylor, Villanova, Southern California, Ohio State and North Carolina also have played in the new designs. Joining Kentucky will be the Georgetown, Duke and Texas men and the Stanford and Connecticut women.
Saturday's Kentucky-Tennessee game in Knoxville tips off at 1 p.m. on CBS-27.
