Wilmore: A retired Lexington firefighter was arrested Thursday on charges of raping a child in 1986. Daryl Parker, 63, had sexual contact with the victim for three years, starting at age 4, according to court documents. Parker now lives in Wilmore but was living in Fayette County at the time. He was charged with first-degree rape of a victim under 12 and first degree sexual abuse of a victim under 12.
