A Lexington police cruiser was involved in an accident Sunday afternoon on North Broadway.

Police said officer Debra Hurt was responding to a burglary in progress when she was coming off of Interstate 75 and turning north onto North Broadway. Her lights and siren were on, and police said she stopped before proceeding, but another vehicle did not see the cruiser and struck it.

Police say both vehicles sustained moderate damage and all occupants were taken to the hospital, treated for minor injuries and released. No charges were filed.
