A senior at Garrard County High School died in a single-vehicle wreck Monday afternoon on Sutton Lane in Lancaster.
Sarah Wilson, 18, was a passenger in a vehicle that flipped over.
Wilson was not wearing a seat belt and was thrown from the vehicle and pinned underneath it, Garrard County Coroner Daryl Hodge said.
"She was killed instantly," he said.
Hodge said he was called to the scene just before 3 p.m.
He said two other people in the vehicle were not injured but were taken to the hospital by police for toxicology tests.
