A Powell County woman who was being sought for neglect and abuse of a disabled adult was in jail Tuesday after turning herself in to authorities.
Ruby Richardson, 49, of Stanton turned herself in to the Powell County sheriff's office Monday night. Richardson was being held in the Powell County jail Tuesday on a $85,000 cash bond, jail employee Connie Harding said.
Earlier this month, Richardson was indicted by a Powell grand jury on felony counts of knowingly exploiting and abusing or neglecting an adult. She also was charged with wanton endangerment.
