FRANKFORT — Gov. Steve Beshear underwent more eye surgery Thursday night "to address a follow-up issue to his previous eye surgeries," his office said in a statement Friday.
The statement said the surgery was successful and that Beshear expects to make a full recovery and plans to return to work Monday.
Beshear underwent surgery last week to remove scar tissue that had developed from last November's procedure to repair a detached retina.
