A Bourbon County man was arrested Wednesday on charges related to child pornography after an undercover investigation led police to his home, state police said.
James Wells, 64, was charged with 10 counts of possession and 10 counts of distribution of matter portraying the sexual performance of a minor, according to a news release.
The state police electronic crime branch discovered that someone in Paris was distributing child pornography files; a search warrant was served on Wednesday, and state police and Bourbon County sheriff's made the arrest after finding the pornography, the release said.
Wells is lodged in Bourbon County jail on a $20,000 cash bond.
