■ Tomeka Coleman, a certified nurse's aide at Cambridge Place, has received the Sageser Award from The Bluegrass Task Force for Long Term Care. The award is named for Sageser Drugstore in Lexington, whose owner, Wes Marion, helped fund the initial awards. Coleman has been a nurse's aide for 21 years, the last six at Cambridge Place.
■ The Lexington Clinic Sleep Center has earned Out of Center Sleep Testing accreditation from the American Academy of Sleep Medicine.
Sleep professionals who obtain the accreditation offer "broader options to patients while demonstrating a commitment to quality diagnostic services," according to the academy, which has been evaluating sleep medicine services since 1977.
