Progress was visible Monday on two new University of Kentucky dorms, Champions Court I and II, being built on the Avenue of Champions between Lexington Avenue and Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard in Lexington. Champions Court I will have 740 private bedrooms in a 285,000-square-foot building. Champions Court II will have 427 beds in two- and four-bedroom suites in a 154,000-square-foot building. The dorms are on the site of the former Wildcat Lodge. Photos by Charles Bertram | Staff
