Two bodies discovered late Friday have been confirmed to be those of a Johnson County couple who have been missing since September.
Johnson County Coroner J.R. Frisby said an autopsy in Frankfort revealed that the bodies were those of Larry Blanton, 60, and Sandra Blanton, 53.
He said more work was being done to determine a cause of death.
The bodies were found buried behind a horse barn on a farm owned by the Blantons.
Paintsville Funeral Home will be in charge of arrangements, Frisby said.
