University of Kentucky signee Derek Willis and University of Louisville signees Anton Gill and Akoy Agau headline the rosters announced Tuesday for the 40th annual Kentucky Derby Festival Basketball Classic.
The game is scheduled for Friday, April 19, in Louisville's Freedom Hall.
Willis, from Bullitt East High School, is the first UK signee in the game since Stacey Poole in 2010.
Willis will play for the black team, opposite the two Louisville signees on the white squad. Four players committed to Indiana — Devin Davis, Luke Fischer, Stanford Robinson and Troy Williams — join Willis on the black team.
The game also includes three McDonald's All-Americans in Jabari Bird (California), Jarell Martin (LSU) and Keith Frazier (undecided).
"It is great to have players committed to Indiana, Kentucky, and Louisville," said Mike Gandolfo and Keith Conrad, the event's co-recruiting chairs, in a news release. "We were able to select and attract many of the best players in the country to complete the roster. The 2013 class is loaded with really good players who will put on a great show."
The nation's oldest high school basketball all-star game has featured such players as Jamal Mashburn, Rex Chapman, Moses Malone, Isiah Thomas, Dominique Wilkins, Eric Bledsoe, Deron Williams and Nolan Smith, among others.
Tickets are $11 and $16 and are available at TicketMaster locations and TicketMaster.com or can be obtained by phone at 1-800-745-3000 or from the Freedom Hall box office at (502) 367-5144.
The players will also participate in the Night of Future Stars on Thursday, April 18, at Floyd Central High School. Admission is free with a ticket to the Derby Festival Basketball Classic. The event includes slam-dunk, 2-on-2 and three-point shooting competitions in addition to an autograph session.
