Two separate parts of New Circle Road will be closed in the coming days so the R.J. Corman Railroad Co. can perform maintenance work.

One lane of New Circle will be closed between Liberty Road and Palumbo Drive from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Thursday, the state Transportation Department announced.

One lane will remain open while R.J. Corman replaces cross ties on the railroad bridge.

Work on another railroad bridge, between North Broadway and Old Paris Pike, will cause one lane of New Circle to be closed from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. from Saturday through March 6. One lane will be open during that project.
