Two earn Eagle Scout rank

Campbell Wade

William Lovan has been awarded the rank of Eagle Scout, the highest honor given by the Boy Scouts of America.

William, 17, is a junior at SCAPA Lafayette. He is a member of Troop 282, sponsored by Mary Queen of the Holy Rosary.

For his service project, William orchestrated a musical instrument drive to benefit the Bryan Station High School Band and its feeder elementary and middle schools. He collected more than 60 brass and woodwind instruments. William is the son of Joel and Tracy Lovan of Lexington.

Campbell Alexander Wade, 15, has been awarded the rank of Eagle Scout. He is a member of Troop 279, sponsored by Beaumont Presbyterian Church. Campbell is a sophomore at Bryan Station High School.

For his service project, Campbell built a deck and basketball goal for the East 7th Street Center and Kid's Cafe.

He is the son of Tom Wade and Holly Hughes of Lexington.
