3 arrested in robbery of Owen County bank

Three people have been arrested in connection with a bank robbery in Owen County.

Todd McIntyre, 42, of Ghent was arrested at Carroll County Memorial Hospital on Monday afternoon and charged in the robbery of First Farmers Bank in New Liberty on Feb. 23.

Aaron Jones, 23, of Fort Mitchell and Wilma Renee Jones, 32, of Carrollton were arrested by officers from the Fort Mitchell Police Department on Saturday, according to a state police news release.

Each was charged with second-degree robbery, according to the website of the Carroll County Detention Center, where they were being held.

McIntyre also faces charges of flagrant non-support and failure to appear.
