The University of Kentucky's football game against Mississippi State this fall has been moved to a Thursday night and will be televised nationally in prime time by ESPN.
Kentucky will visit Mississippi State on Thursday, Oct. 24, the Southeastern Conference announced Tuesday. The game will begin at 7:30 p.m.
This will be UK's seventh appearance in a Thursday night game broadcast on an ESPN affiliate.
Kentucky's previous Thursday night games were in 2011, 2007, 2003, 1999, 1994 and 1993. The Wildcats have a 2-4 record in such games.
