Kentucky is trying to increase the number of students who transfer from community college to four-year schools with the first-ever "Transfer Madness" fair to be held online from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Wednesday. Registration is open now at Transfermadness.org.

The event is aimed at streamlining information and resources for students who need help in switching their credits and enrolling.

Participants in Transfer Madness can download information from the colleges, watch videos, chat with live agents and register for prizes.

The Council on Postsecondary Education has set up a centralized website for information on the transfer process at KnowHow2Transfer.org. Nearly all four-year schools in the state will participate in Transfer Madness.
