Jessamine County: Chamber hosts business networking event Thursday

The Jessamine County Chamber of Commerce will hold its first quarterly business networking event, BizConnect, from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Thursday. First exhibit for art league

The Creative Art League held its inaugural exhibit of all original artwork at the Old Jail on Main Street in downtown Nicholasville Feb. 22-24. The recently formed Creative Art League was formed to raise interest and knowledge of art at all levels in Jessamine County through workshops and exhibits.

Wine & Vine recognition

The Kentucky Travel Industry Association has selected The Kentucky Wine & Vine Fest as a "2013 Top 10" event. The annual festival is now its 10th year. Criteria for selection as Top 10 event includes the popularity of the event, its impact on the local tourism economy as well as its cultural and historical significance.
