High School Basketball Hall of Fame adds 17 members

The Kentucky High School Basketball Hall of Fame announced its 2013 class on Tuesday. The newest 17 members (players and coaches) will be inducted on July 20 in Elizabethtown.

By 2018, the 100th anniversary of Kentucky high school basketball, the Hall of Fame will have 100 members who will make up the Centennial Class.

The 2013 honorees:

■ Butch Beard, Breckinridge Co.

■ Howard Beth, Marshall Co.

■ Mike Casey, Shelby Co.

■ Larry Conley, Ashland

■ Johnny Cox, Hazard

■ Howard Crittenden, Cuba

■ Joe Fulks, Kuttawa-Birmingham

■ Sharon Garland, Laurel Co.

■ Allan Houston, Ballard

■ William Kean, Central

■ Billy Ray Lickert, Lafayette

■ Donna Murphy, Newport

■ Letcher Norton, Clark Co.

■ Linville Puckett, Trapp and Clark Co.

■ J.R. VanHoose, Paintsville

■ Jaime Walz-Richey, Highlands

■ Bobby Watson, Owensboro
