The latest snowstorm caused nearly 30 car crashes in Lexington, authorities said.

From 5 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., there were 24 non-injury accidents and five injury accidents, police spokeswoman Sherelle Roberts said. None of the wrecks resulted in life-threatening injuries, police said.

The total was far lower than the number of crashes on area roads during previous storms this winter.
