Former University of Kentucky center Josh Harrellson, who was released by the NBA's Miami Heat in January, has found a new team.

Harrellson will play for Brujos de Guayama of the Puerto Rican basketball league. He was expected to join the team for practice on Wednesday.

Harrellson, who helped lead Kentucky to the 2011 NCAA Final Four, played in six games for the defending NBA champion Heat in 2012-13, averaging 1.7 points and 1.2 rebounds in 5.2 minutes per game.

Harrellson was taken No. 45 overall in the 2011 NBA Draft as a second-round pick by the New Orleans Hornets and was traded to the New York Knicks on draft night.

He played in 37 games for the Knicks as a rookie, averaging 4.4 points and 3.9 rebounds per game but was traded to the Houston Rockets last summer. The Rockets released Harrellson during the pre-season, and Miami signed him. He was waived Jan. 7, then briefly returned to the Heat on a 10-day contract after which he was not re-signed.
