Kentucky true freshman pitcher Kelsey Nunley (10-1) took her first loss of the season, allowing eight hits and three earned runs in seven innings. She struck out seven and walked three.

First baseman Londen Ladner and second baseman Melina Preciado each had two hits for Mississippi, and pre-season All-Southeastern Conference selection RT Cantillo hit her fourth home run of the season.

Stokes went 2-for-3 for the Cats (16-4). UK's other two hits went to first baseman Lauren Cumbess and designated player Emily Gaines.

Ole Miss (17-9) has won four consecutive games, including 13 of its last 14. The Rebels lead the all-time series 27-16, including a 12-8 mark in Lexington.
