A man was pulled from his vehicle Friday night after speeding down University Drive and crashing into three parked cars, Lexington police said.
Jimmy R. Allen, 44, flipped his full-size truck during the incident and pushed one of the parked cars over an embankment, totaling the vehicle, according to a news release from Lexington police.
Firefighters freed Allen from his truck, and he was taken to University of Kentucky Chandler Hospital with minor injuries.
As of Friday night, Allen was being treated by hospital staff. Allen's blood was taken for analysis, police Lt. Eddie Hart said.
