Nathan Paris, institutional retirement plan consultant for Unified Trust Co., has earned the Qualified Plan Financial Consultant credential.

Patricia "Patsy" Brantley Todd has been named the winner of the National Association of Women Business Owners Lexington's 2013 Winners' Circle Award.

Todd, who was first lady of the University of Kentucky from 2001-11, serves as a founding member of the Women's Circle, the primary endowment program of the University of Kentucky's Center for Research on Violence against Women and has been founding co-chair of the University of Kentucky's Women & Philanthropy for six years.

She has served on the board of the Lexington Opera Society, Governor's School for the Arts Advisory Committee, Lexington Ballet Board and was the community co-chairwoman of the Primary School Program for KERA in Fayette County.

Along with local businesswomen, Todd will be honored at a luncheon on April 11 at Marriott Griffin Gate Resort. Other awards will be presented for Woman Business Owner of the Year, Public Policy Catalyst and NAWBO Member of the Year. The event is open to the public. For more information, visit Lexnawbo.org.
