Personnel File local hires and promotions: Week of March 11

BB&T Corp.: Heath Campbell has been named regional president of the bank's Central Kentucky region. Campbell, who was city executive in Prince George County, Md., replaces Lee Hess who has retired after a 41-year career in banking.


Miller Wells: Michael Hymson has joined the firm. Hymson practices in the areas of real estate planning and administration, as well as estate, gift, generation-skipping and income taxation.


The Lexington-Fayette Urban County Airport Board: The following have been named board officers and members for the governing body for Lexington's Blue Grass Airport for 2013: Nancy Wiser, chair; Larry Deener, vice chair and treasurer; Doris Benson, secretary; Roszalyn Akins, Chuck Ellinger, Richard Hopgood, J. Robert Owens and Kelley Sloane.

The Public Relations Society of America — Thoroughbred Chapter: The following have been named 2013 board of directors members: Brant Welch, Fifth Third Bank, president; David Kitchen, United Way of the Bluegrass, past president; Heather Baber, KCTCS, secretary; and Elise Menold, Lexington Podiatry, treasurer. Serving as directors at large are Cliff Feltham, Kentucky Utilities; Tom Harris, University of Kentucky; Tim Hill, Hill Communications, Sue Patrick, Kentucky Council on Postsecondary Education; and Katelyn Rademacher, Preston-Osborne.

ACRE Commercial Real Estate: Gordy Hoagland has joined the company as a sales and leasing specialist.

Stephen Hillenmeyer Landscape Services: Jay Witte has been named operations manager leading the commercial maintenance and landscape divisions. Seth Hillenmeyer has joined his older brother, Chase Hillenmeyer, in the Weed Man Lawn Care division of the company. Ed Lynch has assumed the position of CFO for Stephen Hillenmeyer Landscape Services and Weed Man Lawn Care.

Turf Town Properties: Reynolds Hart has joined the sales team as an associate broker.
