23 pounds of marijuana found during Scott County traffic stop

A state police trooper who stopped a vehicle Monday for speeding in Scott County found about 23 pounds of marijuana in the car.

Trooper Jeremy DeVasher stopped the vehicle, driven by Jordan E. Robinson, 22, of Cincinnati, at 4:24 p.m. on Interstate 75, according to a news release from state police.

DeVasher smelled marijuana coming from the vehicle and subsequently found the stash, police said.

Robinson was taken to the Scott County Detention Center and was charged with speeding and trafficking in more than five pounds of marijuana.
