The premiere showing of Turner Sports' new documentary on the storied legacy of University of Kentucky men's basketball will take place Wednesday at the Kentucky Theatre in downtown Lexington.

The screening, which begins at 5:30 p.m., is free and open to the public.

Bluegrass Kingdom: The Gospel of Kentucky Basketball features interviews and firsthand reflections from some of the program's most notable personalities, including former UK players Pat Riley, Jamal Mashburn and Michael Kidd-Gilchrist; coaches Joe B. Hall and John Calipari; and others.

The documentary will air nationally on Turner Sports' truTV on Sunday at 8 p.m.
