graduations

■ Air National Guard Airman Logan S. Shen has graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas.

Shen is the son of Sherry Hosler of Winchester. He is a 2010 graduate of George Rogers Clark High School.

■ Air Force Airman Tyler V. Vonwechmar graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas.

Vonwechmar is the son of Victor Vonwechmar of Richmond, and Shawna Vonwechmar of Lexington.

He is a 2011 graduate of Madison Central High School.

■ Army National Guard Pvt. Sarah M. Anderson has graduated from basic combat training at Fort Jackson, Columbia, S.C.

Anderson is the daughter of Jamie Anderson and Joseph Anderson of Paris. She is also the granddaughter of John Anderson of Paris. She is a 2012 graduate of Bourbon County High School.

■ Army Pvt. Thomas H. Gomez has graduated from basic combat training at Fort Jackson, Columbia, S.C.

He is the former ward of Melissa Garrett and Larry Robinson, and the nephew of Angela White, all of Paris. Gomez is a 2012 graduate of Bourbon County High School.

■ Army National Guard Pvt. Matthew B. Peterson has graduated from basic infantry training at Fort Benning, Columbus, Ga.

Peterson is the son of Bryce Peterson and the stepson of Meredith Peterson, both of Georgetown.

He is a 2012 graduate of Scott County High School.
