Lex-Care: Terminally ill man needs money to pay utilities

March 13, 2013

Janice Purdy, a case manager at Hospice of the Bluegrass, is helping the family of a patient who needs $498.57 to pay utility bills.

Her patient is a married man who has been accepted by Hospice due to a terminal illness. Social Security disability benefits have been approved and the first check will arrive in April.

Once these bills are paid and disability benefits are in place the family will be able to manage.
