Lexington police investigated a shooting Thursday afternoon near Fourth and Chestnut streets.
The victim, who is about 30 to 35 years old, did not appear to be seriously injured, police said. The shooting was reported after 1 p.m., and the victim was taken to a hospital.
"It's not life-threatening. It was a grazing across the chin area," Lexington Police Sgt. Brian Wallace said. "He's going to recover just fine."
The shooting happened along Chestnut Street between Fourth and Fifth streets, Wallace said.
"We're not getting 100 percent cooperation from the victim," Wallace said.
Police were talking to people near the Catholic Action Center, 400 East Fifth Street, at 1:40 p.m. Thursday.
