The Fayette County archery championships will be held Saturday (8 a.m. to 5 p.m.) in the Tates Creek High School gym.
The inaugural KHSAA archery state championships will be held Monday and Tuesday at the Kentucky International Convention Center in Louisville. The competition will begin at 3 p.m. on Monday. Tuesday's action will start at 9 a.m. More than 900 student-athletes are expected to participate.
Tickets are $5 per day, with kids under 12 admitted free.
