Monty Wilson made a game-winning three-pointer with 0.4 seconds left to give Georgetown a 90-88 victory over LSU Shreveport (La.) in the semifinals of the NAIA Championship Monday night at Municipal Auditorium in Kansas City, Mo.
The Tigers advance to the championship game to play Southwestern Assemblies of God (Texas) on Tuesday at 8:30 p.m.
Wilson led the Tigers with 32 points, eight rebounds and five assists.
It was the second straight game-winning shot for Wilson, who hit the go-ahead jumper with 31 seconds left for an 86-82 quarterfinal-round win over Culver-Stockton (Mo.).
Lindsey Wilson falls in semifinals
Lindsey Wilson reached new heights in 2012-13, but had its postseason run ended by Southwestern Assemblies of God on Monday night, falling 80-64 at Municipal Auditorium in Kansas City, Mo. The Blue Raiders led the last seven minutes of the first half and took a 31-31 tie into halftime, but SAGU went on a tear in the second, outscoring Lindsey Wilson 49-33 while shooting over 60 percent from the field.
Wes Hanspard and Darren Ballou led Lindsey Wilson in their final games, scoring 15 and 13 points, respectively.
